Catalyst BD

Project Overview

A donation and campaign platform for Catalyst BD, a nonprofit registered under the Societies Registration Act, working across education, healthcare, clean water, women's empowerment and disaster relief in Bangladesh.

The Challenge

The organisation raises money three different ways at once — one-off donations, monthly child sponsorship, and Zakat that must be directed only to the eight eligible categories. Donors arriving from a shared link had no clear path to the giving route that applied to them.

Our Engineering Solution

We built a Next.js platform where each giving route has its own entry point from every page: preset quick-donation tiers from ৳500 to ৳10,000, ৳3,000-per-month child sponsorship, and a dedicated Shariah-compliant Zakat flow. Individual campaigns get their own page with a progress bar, goal amount, donor count and days remaining, so donors see exactly where a contribution lands.
